Birthday Book Workshop!!

I'm excited to offer this project as a class you can attend on Tuesday night the 19th of February!  A Birthday Book??!!  Yes, here is the answer to never forgetting any of your loved ones' birthdays ever again!!  You make the book from scratch and bind it yourself too (unless you need a hand naturally!!)( A BIG thankyou to Geordie Morgan for lending me her binding machine!!)  There is a "pocket" for each month to place several cards in (comfortably), and as one of the photos shows, a place for you to write the date of the recipients' birthday and their name!  So after you've made the book, you can make cards when you feel like it and pop it in your Birthday Book, knowing you're all organised and prepared for their special day!  There are also lots of different and exciting techniques in the book that you will learn, and you could even gain inspiration for your cards from the book itself!

Cost is $25, and we'll start at the slightly earlier time of 6.30pm.  As supplies need to be ordered for this lovely project, would you please let me know by the 11th of February if you are thinking of coming, just so there are enough goodies for all!! Contact me on 54763576 or email jandrwilliams1@dodo.com.au

Hope you can make it!!

I love how the ladies "made the pages their own"!   What a cutie!!

The colour choices for the page below with cute little Lucy and Alice are Lucky Limeade, Daffodil Delight and Midnight Muse.  The page turned out beautifully Pauline, well done!

Love colour combo's here too, with Crumb Cake, Early Espresso and Pool Party.

Another combination used (not pictured) was Real Red, Bashful Blue and Crumb Cake, which also looked fantastic! Thanks for sharing your amazing work girls!

Faux "Seal"

Just love this technique Julia showed me and wanted to share it with you!!  ( I know Julia, it IS in our Impressions magazine (a magazine SU demos receive, but you know I never read it!!)
Simply stamp a piece of cardstock with versamark, cover with the embossing powder of your choice (I've used silver here), shake excess off and heat with heat gun.  Simple right? Yep, well repeat that step 4-5 times, and on the last time ink up your desired stamp with versamark ink, and stamp into the heat embossed card stock while it is still hot.  It is SUCH a cool technique, and if you have embossing goodies such as a versamark, embossing powder and heat gun you HAVE TO TRY THIS!! If not, contact me now, have a party while SALE A BRATION is on and gets heaps of freebies!!!
Happy Stampin'!!!
